Sonic Water by Sven Meyer & Kim Pörksen is an installation currently on show in Berlin's Olympus Photography playground. The exhibition explores sound in visual form where visitors can interact with a small container of water positioned inside the speaker. Simultaneously as the sounds change, the camera located above the container provides instant feedback as projection. Depending on the frequency of the sound and the fluids added to the mix, new patterns are constantly regenerated. From chaos becomes order reflecting the harmonic laws of nature.

The Field of Hope – 2015 Milan EXPO China Pavilion

Designed by Tsinghua University team led by Danqing Shi, The Field of Hope is a lighting installation for the 2015 Milan EXPO China Pavilion. It consists of 30,000 metal “straws”, each with a LED diffuser tip, functioning as a 3-dimensional pixel display field.

Season in Review – iPad as Interactive Data Sculpture

Derived from passion for baseball, Teehan+Lax Labs set out to create an iPad app to display Baseball stats but with a slight twist. The iPad cover that includes graphs cut in acrylic acts as data sculpture accompanying data displayed on the iPad.
