Ran by Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby until 2015, The Design Interactions course at the RCA was established in 1990 (Computer Related Design) in response to the growing need for designers working with electronic and computing technologies. The course developed in line with wider social issues and incorporates the design potential of biotechnology and nanotechnology, both of which are now moving out of the research laboratory and into everyday life.
